This year NEDC and our allies won a historic victory for Willamette River salmon and steelhead, with a court ordering the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to make significant operational changes at several Willamette basin dams. These changes will improve fish migration and water quality in key Willamette tributaries, and provide a road to recovery for these iconic species.
Now: we’re ready to celebrate! Join us next Tuesday, August 23 at Migration Brewing in Portland to learn more about this important victory. You’ll hear from NEDC and our allies, including our outstanding attorneys from Advocates for the West, about the decades-long fight to protect these fish, and what comes next.
